What is SkillSip?

SkillSip is a mobile learning app that delivers daily 3-minute lessons on topics like Productivity, Psychology, Money & Investments, Technology, Health, and more. Read a new lesson each day to build your learning streak!

How does the daily lesson work?

Each day, SkillSip generates a fresh 3-minute lesson based on your selected topics. Open the app to read today's lesson and build your streak. You can also try different lessons (3 per day) if you want to explore other topics.

Does SkillSip work offline?

Yes! SkillSip is designed to work completely offline. All your lessons, preferences, and reading history are stored locally on your device. You can read lessons anytime, anywhere.

How many topics can I select?

You can select as many topics as you want from our 18 available topics. Your daily lesson will be randomly selected from your chosen topics.

What are streaks?

Streaks track how many consecutive days you've read a lesson. The longer your streak, the more motivated you'll be to keep learning! Don't break the chain!

Can I save lessons for later?

Absolutely! Tap the bookmark icon on any lesson to save it to your Library. You can search and review your saved lessons anytime.

How do I change the theme to dark mode?

Go to Settings → Appearance and choose Light, Dark, or Auto (follows your system settings).

Can I export my data?

Yes! Go to Settings → Privacy → Export My Data. This will save all your lessons, reading history, and preferences as a JSON file.

How do I delete all my data?

Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete All Data. This will permanently remove all lessons, preferences, and reading history from your device.

Is my data private?

Yes! All your data is stored locally on your device. We never sell your data to third parties. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

Troubleshooting

App won't open or crashes

Try these steps:

  1. Force close the app and reopen it
  2. Restart your device
  3. Check for app updates in the App Store
  4. If the problem persists, contact us at skillsiplearn@gmail.com

Lesson not loading

SkillSip works offline, but if you're experiencing issues:

  1. Check your internet connection (for generating new lessons)
  2. Try the "Try Different Lesson" button
  3. Restart the app
  4. Check Settings → Storage → Clear Cache

Streak not updating

Make sure you've marked the lesson as read by scrolling to the bottom and tapping "Mark as Read". Your streak updates when you read a lesson, not just when you open the app.
