- Saved Lessons: Lessons you choose to save for later review

- App Settings: Your preferences for notifications, theme, and other app settings
Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
- Usage Data: App features used, lesson interactions, time spent in app
- Performance Data: Crash reports, error logs (for debugging purposes only)
Information NOT Collected
- Personal Identity: We do NOT collect your name, email, phone number, or address
- Location Data: We do NOT track your physical location
- Social Media: We do NOT access your social media accounts
- Contacts: We do NOT access your device contacts
- Photos/Camera: We do NOT access your photos or camera
How We Use Your Information
Local Storage (Your Device Only)
- All lesson content, preferences, and reading history are stored locally on your device using SQLite
- This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable cloud sync (future feature)
- You can delete all data by uninstalling the app
Cloud Services (Optional)
When you enable cloud features (if available):
- Lesson Generation: Your selected topic is sent to our server to generate personalized lessons using Azure OpenAI
- Background Sync: Recent lessons from Supabase are synced to your device for offline access
- No Personal Data: We do NOT send any personally identifiable information to our servers
Analytics (If Enabled)
We may use analytics services to understand app usage:
- Aggregated, anonymized usage patterns
- Feature popularity and engagement metrics
- Crash reports and error logs for debugging
You can opt out of analytics in Settings.

- Access: View all data stored locally via the app's Library and Stats screens
- Deletion: Delete all local data using "Delete All Data" in Settings
- Export: Export your data as JSON using "Export My Data" in Settings
- Opt-Out: Disable analytics and crash reporting in Settings
Children's Privacy
SkillSip is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the app
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Showing an in-app notification for significant changes
